Anita E. Ramirez, CHCC, President, has over 25 years experience in health care management. She has provided services to physicians in analyzing existing practices, identifying and rectifying problem areas, and new practice start-ups. Ms. Ramirez has also functioned in the trenches as a clinic administrator overseeing marketing, personnel, finance and administrative operations. Ms. Ramirez has a proven track record for turning around unprofitable and disorganized medical practices by introducing proper management procedures; formulating and implementing a marketing plan, which significantly increased client base and improved image and good will; writing and installing policies and procedures, job descriptions, and personnel manuals; improving employee morale through staff training programs and reorganization of employee compensation programs. Ms. Ramirez attended a comprehensive training workshop conducted by Healthcare Compliance Resources on compliance programs, took the comprehensive examination and earned the certification for a Certified Healthcare Compliance Consultant in 2001. Mrs. Ramirez is a recognized leader in the community. She is listed in the 1989 Who's Who of Women Executives, the 1997 International Who's Who of Professionals and in the 1976 Outstanding Young Women of America. Throughout her career she has held numerous civic and social organization presidencies in the greater Tampa area, such as: President, South Tampa Chamber of Commerce; President of the Gulf Coast Executive Women in Health Care, President, National Association for Female Executives; President, Mental Health Association Board of Directors; President, President of ACTS Board of Directors; and President of Network of Executive Women. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. Ms. Ramirez has been featured in several local and national publications and has appeared on many local television programs. She is also on the adjunct faculty of Hillsborough Community College since 1976 teaching courses on medial office practices and procedures, office automation, supervision, leadership training and customer service.
Jeanette 'JT' Taft, MBA, has over fifteen years of senior leadership experience in managed care and is recognized for her role in organization positioning, growth management, and corporate re-engineering and restructuring. Ms. Taft conducts seminars and workshops in the United States and Central America on Strategic Planning, Leadership Training, Creating Your Future, Success in the Business World, and many other topics. 'JT' has been featured in Best of America's Innovative Compensation Program, Stockton Record for Health Advocacy's Top 10 Outstanding Business People, and St. Petersburg Times' Woman of Achievement, and has received the Susan B. Anthony Business Field Award. Marianne L. Taylor, MBA, has more than 20 years of marketing, sales and public relations experience in insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and professional services. She has provided direction and training to Fortune 500 firms on strategic planning, marketing, business development, advertising and media relations. Ms. Taylor conducts seminars and workshops nationally on Winning Advertising Campaigns, Successful Selling, Getting Platinum Returns from Customer Service, Designing Your Corporate Image, Handling Crisis Communications, Personal Marketing -- "Making The Impact", Diversity in the Workplace, and many other topics. Marianne is a columnist on business, political and healthcare trends, and is currently writing a book "From Art to Technology -- Bridging the Gap". She is a recipient of the Business Volunteers for the Arts and Presidential Light Awards, and served on the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women. Karla E. Philippou, ART, CCS, CPC, CHCC, has over 7 years of experience in the field of health information management and coding. She has provided leadership, guidance and training to hospitals, physicians and healthcare specialists in the areas of health information management, utilization management, physician documentation and billing and coding. Ms. Philippou conducts classes, seminars, and workshops in health information management and coding. She is a consultant, speaker and professional reviewer of health information and coding. Ms. Philippou received her certification as a records technician in 1993, became a certified coding specialist in 1995 and a certified professional coder in 1997. She became a Certified Healthcare Compliance Consultant in 2001. Ms. Philippou is a member of the American health Information Management Association, the American Academy of Professional Coders, and the Florida Health Information Management Association. Jean M. Kohler, has over 25 years experience in the field of computer science. She has provided leadership, guidance and training to organizations in information systems management, IT and corporate strategic planning, business recovery planning, computer security planning, computer systems project management, software development management, contract services management, training development and delivery and customer support management. Jean is a member and has been President of the Suncoast Girl Scout Council, North Atlantic Girl Scouts Council and Girl Scouts Wagon Wheel Council. John Peake, Computer Specialist, has over 10 years experience in computer equipment and software support. He provides custom programming to meet client's specialized needs and supplemental support to other computer dealers across the country. He specializes in medical manager software. Aleida Rios, has over 20 years experience in health care management. She has a degree in computer science form the University of South Florida School of business. Ms. Rios has vast experience in running physician practices and as a practice consultant. She was responsible for running the first managed care company in Florida and has negotiated numerous contracts with major insurance companies for her clients. Ms. Rios is certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
